• Volleyball and Cultural Exchange to Cuba!
An initial meeting was held on Tuesday, May 8 to gain insight on the volleyball/cultural exchange to Cuba and it certainly sounds like an exciting opportunity.
A standard itinerary usually consists of: After breakfast, mornings will be spent practicing with Cuban National Coaches and competing against similar skill-level Cuban athletes. Following lunch in a traditional (and approved) Cuban Café, there are a variety of suggested activities such as enjoying the white-sand beaches, guided walking tour of Old Havana, shopping in Havana and an Artisan's Market, as well as visiting a local Orphanage to do a little humanitarian work. Evenings will mostly be spent close to the hotel and include Cuban music, Salsa dancing lessons, or simply swimming at our hotel's pool.
The next meeting is scheduled for:
Date: May 27, 2012
Time: 8:30 pm
Location: TBA
Please check back soon for tour dates/pricing! If you require any additional information or simply have a question, please contact Tracey Kress.
• "Into the Swing" Volleyball Camp
It's hard to imagine the summer of 2012 being over... it's barely begun! But before we know it, August will be here and our thoughts will turn to the fall volleyball season. QCVC offers our athletes the opportunity to "tune up" their volleyball skills with "Into the Swing", a QCVC Volleyball Camp lead by Nationally Certified Coaches with an emphasis on individual skill development.
This is an excellent opportunity for athletes to take the court for quality touches on the ball in preparation for their school seasons and/or evaluations for club volleyball. All athletes will receive three days of on-court instruction - from Friday, August 24th to Sunday, August 26th.
You can Register Online or download the Registration Form and mail it to:

- fore-arm passing
- overhead passing
- serving
- hitting
- blocking
- defensive positioning
- game strategies

• Youth League
QCVC is proud to support Volleyball Regina's initiative to create a Youth League for fall. Unfortunately not all athletes who want to play volleyball are given the opportunity to do so on their high school teams. Many of those athletes are club athletes and this program gives them the ability to get touches on the ball and spend time on the court, just like their fellow students who DO make their school teams. Visit the Volleyball Regina website for details.
• Online Registration
For your convenience, we are now offering Online Registration. Please Note: Payment of the registration fee must be received for an athlete to be considered officially registered. See our Registration page for details and a list of our programs.
