High Performance – Athletes in the High Performance program are required to demonstrate a high level of commitment (i.e. attendance). Athletes can expect:

  • to practice a minimum of two times per week,
  • to attend three SaskCup tournaments and provincial tournaments, and possibly up to two additional tournaments,
  • to attend national tournament at the coach and team decision, and
  • any additional conditioning at the coach’s discretion.

QCVC fees for the 2018/19 High Performance season are as follows (*see note under fees):
14U- $595
15U- $610
16U- $610
17U- $610
18U- $595
*these fees do not include additional team/travel/jersey fees.  Those teams choosing to attend Nationals will be registered by the QCVC Registrar and charged the registration fee in January 2019.  If required, jersey fees will be charged after being placed on a team.

Evaluations for 14U – 18U athletes that would like to be considered for the High Performance program will be in November/December 2018. Athletes should arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled evaluation start time.

Depending on the total number of athletes registered, QCVC may schedule additional sessions.

QCVC will contact you with a specific evaluation date, time and location if you are asked to attend an additional session.

To help you determine whether you can commit to the expectations of the High Performance program, here is a list of the SaskVolleyball tournaments that High Performance teams will attend:

14U-18U SVA tournaments

Registration for High Performance evaluations will open October 1, 2018. You will need to pre-register for the High Performance program at https://site3999.goalline.ca prior to evaluations. There is a $10 charge for evaluations. (If you register and evaluate for the 14U-16U High Performance program and are not selected, you will automatically be registered into our Developmental Club League Program. DO NOT REGISTER FOR BOTH EVALUATIONS.)

In order to be considered for High Performance, attendance on the first day of evaluations is required.
