Elite Summer Camp

FEATURE COACH: QCVC is excited to bring on Noah Miller to run this year’s Elite Camp.  Noah is originally from Mossbank, SK. He played for Team Saskatchewan between 2012-2014 and was part of the U of R Cougars from 2014-2016 being named Canada West All-Rookie 2015.
Noah’s coaching experience: RVC from 2016-2020, Team Saskatchewan 2017-2020, King’s University Men’s Volleyball assistant coach 2020-2022 (4th place finish 2022 and nationally ranked).  Noah was also the High Performance & Coaching Coordinator for RVC  2019-2020.

The High Performance Elite Summer Camp is for all athletes who want to get to the next level of training and work on technical volleyball skills and position specific training. This will be a fast paced, jammed packed camp.  There will be emphasis on technical skills including serving (standing and jump), attacking (in- system and out of system), passing (serve receive and defense), and setting.

Date: August 15th – 18th, 2022
Place: Queen City Volleyball Complex, 1802B Stock Rd.
Time: 
Session 1 – 9:00am – 11:30 pm – athletes going into grade 9 & 10 as of Sept 1, 2022
Session 2 – 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm – athletes going into grade 11 & 12  as of Sept 1, 2022
Max 36 per session
Cost $275 + (SVA Recreation membership – https://volleyball.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/registration/member-registration/club/63079)
Athletes who participated in the 2022 club season will have the youth competitive membership – no further membership required

Athletes from clubs outside of QCVC are welcome to attend
If the system advises that you are in the system – hit the “What is my access code” under the text box to retrieve your access code.
QCVC, Volleyball Canada and Sask Volleyball all utilize Goalline for registration so you are in the system with a code.

Royal Summer Camp

FEATURE COACH: Sheila Loos – 16U Elite Team and QCVC Mentor Coach for 13 and 14U age group.

The Royal Summer Camp is for all athletes who want to learn and develop their volleyball skills. There will be emphasis on technical skills including serving, attacking, passing, and setting. Focus is on skill development for athletes new to the sport or playing club in 13/14U age category (QCVC Black and White).
