QCVC Smashball Learn to Train

Smashball – Learn to Train is a Volleyball Canada program designed for grades 4-6 (ages 8-11) that teaches basic volleyball skills and rules through a modified, fun game using lighter balls, smaller courts, and fewer players (2v2 or 3v3). It builds on the previous FUNdamentals program, focusing on physical literacy, skill development (like spiking and passing), teamwork, and fostering a passion for volleyball, ultimately preparing players for the 6-on-6 game. The game progresses through five levels, introducing more contacts and complexity as players develop.
